Why is it urgent to change how we look at migrant children and youth?

We believe that the narrative surrounding migrant children and youth is the mirror where our rigor is put to the test today. In the face of discourses that label them as a threat, we must urgently propose narratives that recognize them for what they are: a collective investment and our best response to the demographic winter.

Professionals from all over the world will gather once again in Mérida to strengthen the world’s largest migration journalism network. On October 14 and 15, we open a space for reflection to connect media and organizations, with the goal of transforming public perception into a much more rigorous, human, and future-oriented perspective.
